Honda NSR500 1986

I haven’t built a bike in a few years so I thought I would do one now lol

This will be the All Japan Road Race version in the Honda colors, ridden by Keiji Kinoshita

So far I worked on the stand, I added weld seams, and brass rod for axels on the wheels. I went with a red color for Honda

Re: Honda NSR500 1986

Wow, you're kidding me!
Are you sure this isn't the real stand?
Fantastic start. Please, keep us posted!! Judging from your start, this looks extremely promising. And you say you haven't built a bike in some time...

Re: Honda NSR500 1986

thanks!,

I painted the frame with aluminum , and gave it a light wash to bring out some detail.

Re: Honda NSR500 1986

Very promising indeed! The stand is beautiful and you really brought the details of the frame out with the wash.
Do you have a reference photo of the bike so that we can see what you're heading for??

That body work really looks pretty. On the box it looks good but, not as good as yours looks.
