timing issue

hello, i have a 93 150 with a 302 standard. the body has 200,000 but i just rebuilt the motor and cant get the thing to fire. i went over everything and couldnt find anything i might of missed. the old engine blew up from lack of coolant so there should be no computer related issues. i tried bringing it to tdc and just lining everything straight(including the hall effect and reluctor ring) and it will just sputter. all new accel injectors and have about 48# at the rail. dont think its a fuel problem. cant find any vacuum leaks and isnt setting any codes. i have checked and i do have spark so im about lost .
any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: timing issue

Not to insult your intelligence, but make sure youre timing it on the compression stroke, and not the overlap. Ive done it myself before.lol Doublecheck for vacum leaks, although it takes a pretty healthy leak for these late models not to start, it does happen. Check the pcv , thats big enuff to keep some from starting. Do you have the air induction tube from the filter housing hooked up to the throttle body? It wont start, if theres no air flow past the air flow sensor. Is the spark a good, hot, blue spark....not yellowish? If not, check all your grounds, especially batt to body, and engine to body. Make sure the rotor is properly seated on the dist. shaft. Just a few things to check, let us know.
