1991 Ford Lariat F150

I have a 1991 ford f150 with a 302 EFI, when i start it of the mornings it idols up and down about every 1 to 2 seconds until i tap the gas then it stops, once i'm moving on the highway and hold it at a steady speed it feels like it has a mist or cutting out unless i accelerate. i just had a complete tune-up put on it and the computer was checked and everything came back clean ????

Sounds like the ignition module. It regulates the fuel until it is warmed up like a choke would do on an older vehicle. It also regulates the spark. Or it is the heat sensor.

I would put a bottle of a name brand fuel injector cleaner or Sea Foam in a full tank of gas, if you haven't already tried that. Problems like this can sometimes be very hard to find the solution to.
