An execution and a kinda win

Well I wasnt the one driving but I was with my friend, he has a honda civic with the v tech and shortshifter and some other small mods, anyway we saw this mustang at the lights but he turned off, so a little while later we were cruising doing like 60kpm when it pulled along side us, it was a 94-98 mustang, it had the duel exaust so I know it was a v8 (the v6's only have one right?) and he clearly had some nice stuff in there because the car sounded like a jet and it kinda had one of those loopy idles and he had some fat tires on the back, I told my friend to not even try cause clearly we were about to get raped, but he just told me "dont worry man the v tech can handle itself better then you think" so I just rolled my eyes and figured atleast I would get to see the stang in action, so the guy looked at us and pointed forward like to say go for it so my friend downshifted and floored it and you could hear his v tech screaming for about 2 seconds as we get a car on the stang then you hear him downshift and the roar totaly drown out the civic's fartcar scream and he blew past us 1, 2, 4, 7, 13 car lengths and he was GONE.

Then a little while later we were driving down the ringroad and I see some blue headlights coming up on the side fast and so does my friend so when the car was just behind the back bumper my friend downshifted and hit it and the car on the side pulled a little to about the middle of the door and stayed there till about 140kph when my friend let off and the car went past I could see that it was a ford probe and it had a huge fartcan too but I dunno what else. So it was a kinda win but I think if my friend would have waited till we were even or went off the line it would have been too close to call or the probe would have won slighly.

Maybe your friend should swap his v-tech for a vtec. After all, a v-tech is a phone and vtec is an engine with Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control. Either way, he still would've lost. But it's cool that you got to see a nice Mustang in action.

I had one of those phones, they were fast, they called miami to new york in like 3.4 sec and called a 1/4mile in even less than that!

Hehehe, good story man! Sounds like a mean Mustang, I would have loved to see it go.

Yeah, it sounds like your buddy has some stuff to learn.
