EGR circuit?

i did this trick that tells me some diag. codes n it told me this

EGR circuit
Open MAP sensor circuit

what does this mean and how can i fix this and where is is located?
i have a 1991 S-10 Blazer 4.3L TBI
the service engine soon light would turn on so i did this self diag. thing with a paper clip.
