98 Rodeo 4x4 not engaging
Have 98 Rodeo. Push 4x4 botton and nothing happens. 4x4 light on dashboard keep blinking.
Any idea where to start to find problem? email to [email protected] will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Either the xfer case actuator, front axle actuator, or control unit is not working right.
D/L a factory service manual from http://foto.afn.kz/x/Rodeo/99Year/ (98 and 99 would be the same). That should help walk you through what to check and how to do it. I know of 1 control unit that has gone bad (protetypes '01 rodeo). After the xfer case locks in it should send power to the front axle actuator and his wasnt.
