Baker traction engine drawing
Gentlemen,
Here's one of the pieces of machinery that I enjoy doing almost as much as cars. This is an old steam powered traction engine from the late teens or early twenties. It was built by the A.D. Baker Company of Swanton, Ohio. They hold antique engine shows throughout the summer and one of the largest show is in Wauseon, Ohio. I used some reference pics for the engine and the cloud formations were taken from my library of skies. Everytime I see an interesting sky or cloud formation I shoot a bunch of pics for future reference. This was done with Prismacolor pencils on white Stonehenge drawing paper. It's approximately 12x15. If you would like to see a higher resolution pic you can go to my Photobucket account and have a look. The link for it is: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...tnell/Artwork/ ![]() gbritnell |

Wow, nice! That's a lot of detail. I like the Amish guy! B
