Need some help

I have a 15" memphis pr154 with a ported box in my regal. I have enough bass already (ground shakes outside of my car)and my review mirrow fell off. I need 2 pairs of 6x9's that are clear and loud with out much bass. Im looking to spend no more than $380.00 I was thinking about top of the line Focals or Memphis but if any one knows of a better brand for around the same price i would appreciate it.

Re: Need some help

Why not get some comps instead of the 6x9's. There are some clear sounding 6x9's but from what ive gathered is that they where originally a cheap way for OEM manufacturers to get some bass response with out using extra amps and subs. If thats not something you want to do then focals wold be good, mb quarts, jl's or even some alpines. But i think that a couple sets of MB Quarts would sound pretty good, ive put mine through hell running of the HU in the rear ive played tone tests from 1hz-250hz and alot of rock, metal, rap, techno, and some country when my girl rides in it, and it always sounds great. Im sure someone else will give better products or go with the comps idea.

Ive never really seen much about memphis for SQ i always thought they where mainly SPL products.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.
