Need some Advice.
i got a hit and run on my eclipse. they only damaged my driver side fender but my deductable is 500. so i am thinking about gettin one of these fenders insted of stock. what do ya'll think about them? would it look stupid? and does anyone have any pics of an eclipse with any of them on and painted? which one looks better?

Re: Need some Advice.
I am confused because as I read down through it, it said del sol fenders... After examining the picture I can tell you that it is no Eclipse fenders unless the picture is just an example... I would ask the seller first because the picture doesn't match how an Eclipse' fenders would mount...
Also, if they are the correct ones there might be some fitament issues due to it being aftermarket. I think they would actually look good on a 2g though. I was in your same situation and contemplated different fenders but ended up going with a stock one from the junkyard as it was a cheaper solution.

Re: Need some Advice.
I bought some fiberglass z3 fenders before and they fit like absolute shit. When they were bolted up on the top, the bottom literally stuck out 9 inches and I had to push to get it to fit right. With that much stress on them, even the slightest bump and they would crack, plus I live in ND so they would be even more prone to cracking. I decided to sell them and stuck with the stockers. I'm happy that I sold them now that I look back, it's less work to do and now I won't have to fix cracked fenders all the time.

Re: Need some Advice.
the stocks look ok, but after market look even nicer. you do bring up an interesting point though about cracking and all

Yeah I was just sayin that I thought the stockers are ugly and I wanted some aftermarket ones soo bad but then after getting them, I realized they're not really THAT nice and I actually like the stockers better, they have such a nice curve to them that you can't really stick anything into them, otherwise it takes out some of the cars bodylines.
