Re: odometer

i think you may be getting the trip meter confused with the odometer. if the trip does not work the odometer should still work (i had that problem with my camaro). if u choice to by a replacement guage cluster, it be at 0 miles unless u by a used one and it will show the miles of the vehicle it came from. there may be a way to forward it to your trucks actuall mileage but in most cases, just right down what the mileage was then replace the custer if you want to.

it is the led display... the electronic one on that has the odometer and trip meter built you hit a button to se one another... it is on the newer gmc models that light up only when the car is on ....this one will not go on at all it

Re: odometer

o ok. the ecm should still keep track of the mileage even though the display is not showing up. its probably an electical issue somewhere. do all of your guages and lights still function?
