no start,no crank

I just replaced the ignition switch in my 98 intrique and now when I turn the key all things turn on and the fuel pump works but no starter function. No cranking or clicking and the service engine and security light stay on. Any clue what to do? I checked all the fuses and they're all good.

Welcome to AF. Issue here with the security system, what type of key does it have , chip in key or no chip visible?

No chip. I tried the operation of turning it to on and letting it sit for 30 minutes and also turning it on for 10 min then off and repeating two more times and still nothing. Battery is fine 12.6v. My spare keys worked before but now they won't turn and original does nothing either.
