bicycle rider owned my car! >:(

ok, so yesterday, im coming straight out of my driveway at about 4mph. no big deal right? WRONG! as soon as i get out of my driveway and onto the sidewalk some 13-14 year old kid on a bicycle CRASHES into my front right fender going FULL speed. he and his bike pretty much flew onto my hood. it happened in like the space of half a second, he was going SO fast. Even though he hit my car HARD i wasnt a dick because he looked like he was about to start crying so i just opened my door and started asking him if he was OK. he couldnt even answer me at first. i had some big smile on my face because this was soo god damn hilarious but just kept trying to be as nice as possible. after about 2 minutes he pulled himself and his bike away from my car and walked off, sad and hurt. anyways, i look at my car and notice THIS!

fucking asshole bikers, this picture only shows the big ding....

Re: bicycle rider owned my car! >:(

it doesnt look like there is any need for bondo... but the hammer yes.. or maybe you mean after you hammer it out to seal up any cracks?

Re: bicycle rider owned my car! >:(

it matters how bad it is. From the glare it looks really fucked up, but i guess you could just try and pop that out with a hammer and see how it looks. If it isnt that bad or just a small ding i wouldnt bother with bondo.

Re: bicycle rider owned my car! >:(

yea bondo would be needed, especially if your taking a body hammer to it. You could pop most of it out, but it would not be straight. THere would be wrinkle marks/hammer marks. I would say for sure where it meets the fender well and possibly where there seems to be two smaller deeper dents(darker areas) within the main huge dent. Looks like a handle bar brake lever hit there or something.

Yea it just depends on how much damage you can live with if you want to use bondo or not. You could prolly get a new one from the junkyard for like 20 bucks.......
