adhesive for emblems?

I got a new bumper on my car and basically I have to put the emblems back on myself. So what's something good to put on them so they won't fall off but they wont wreck my paint if i take them off for whatever reason? thanks

Re: adhesive for emblems?

Duct Tape...
Well, you could just spend some extra change and get brand new shiny ones that come ready to peel-and-stick with the 3M adhesive they use.

Re: adhesive for emblems?

I was going to say gorilla glue... but than you brought up the part that it has to not wreck your paint...

well I have no idea what gorilla glue will do to paint, but i know you won't be able to get the emblem off.

Re: adhesive for emblems?

Use 3M adhesive tape. Just like the stuff that normally comes on the emblems. It doesn't ruin your paint at all. It's just a little tough to get off completely, which is where Goo Gone comes in.

Re: adhesive for emblems?

I use clear silicone for a lot of my adhesive needs. Works pretty good, very strong bonding power and if you ever want to remove it, the silicone peels off perfect!!!!
