Talking Power Windows

I don't have much experince with power windows so if someone can tell me what the actual problem is it would make my life easier. I have a 1994 Chevy Ext Cab P/U and the passenger side window sometimes won't go up. I thought it was the drivers side button but the other day I put it all the way down and niether button made it go up. I messed around with it for awhile and finally by jiggling or rocking the up/down driver side button it went up. I apparently made some electrical contact. Thx for any possible help.

Re: Power Windows

Check the contacts on the passenger door switch. I had a similar problem with the window working when it wanted to and found out that when my kids slammed the passenger door it would work for a while. Figuring it was a connection at the motor, I pulled the door apart. The connection at the motor was fine, but I noticed the contacts on the window switch were a little dirty. I cleaned them up and it has worked ever since. Apparently the power goes through the passenger switch....
