odometer light 2002 cavalier

does any one know why my odometer light does not work and now
how to fix this.

So the only light not working is the one for the odometer?? Check your fuses is my guess.

is it possible for the led or whatever bulb it is to get knocked out and just hang somewhere thus not lighting up the odo? Have you taken apart the dash at all to investigate?

yes I have taken the dash apart and could not see any lights hanging

When you took it apart did any of the wires look melted, frayed, or not connected??

no everything looked fine, can not figure it out, it's just the light the odometer is still moving.

for the record....mine too. Mine was "burnt out" when I got it. Odometer still works fine just the light isn't there right? and you have to do that sideways creaky back deal to look at it right? lol.
