Trying to get the back seat off my 1996 Grand AM

I’m trying to get the back seat off my 1996 Pontiac Grand AM so that I can change the speakers but I have no idea how to get the seat off… any help anyone? Thanks

if its anything like my 95 then i hope you have a lot of time and patience because i didnt and i ended up with a grinder in my hand before my brother talked some sense into me...



not real sure what i was going to grind but i was determined

The prev. owner of my 97 took the back seat out and obviously got fed up somewhere along the line because it looks like the guy went to work with the claw hammer on it. Now I don't think there is any hope for my back seat to ever be secured like it should be.
