'93 VR6 stalling.

Greetings fellow drivers,

1993 Passat VR6 5spd.
Relays under dash tend to click a lot. ABS light sometimes comes on at times for a while at it's own volition.
Sometimes the engine just cuts out at stop lights, and even while driving. Most of the time it restarts itself with the car's momentum, but if I am still, or in the rare occasion that it does not restart while in motion, I find that if I give the relay box above my left foot a few light kicks, it will restart.

My mechanic has already replaced the relay box and tested the relays and all are OK. He says that I must be nudging something that is above the fuse box with my kicking.

Any ideas of what is here that may be causing the stalling and is affected by a short sharp shock?

Thanks.
