'03 Grand Caravan Sport....Brakes

Probably a simple question....I replaced my brakes yesterday and there is still a terrible grinding noise. What should I do to relieve this problem?

Re: '03 Grand Caravan Sport....Brakes

Unless you have an awful ot of miles for an '03 your wheel bearings should be fine. If you just changed pads and/or turned the rotors the bearings weren't even disturbed. Rear brakes should last 3-4 times as long as fronts. Grinding from the front brakes after changing pads would indicate at least one of those pads or clips were installed improperly.

To get any accurate answers you gotta give us more info.

Tell us exactly what you mean "replaced the brakes". Did you just replace pads, or did you pull the rotors and have them turned? Did you replace rear shoes? Did you readjust the parking brake and make sure it was re-installed correctly? Did you do this work yourself, or did you have a shop do it?
