Re: Question

No, the Firehawk didn't have a turbo. No f-body came from the factory with a turbo.
I don't know the all detailed differences between all the models, so I won't post them, but I'm sure someone will come along and enlighten us.

Re: Question

The WS6 is a Trans Am with a larger pontiac intake, and a hood with a larger opening for the said intake. Also comes with a suspension handling package. The Firehawk starts as a firebird formula, then its sent to SLP where an SLP intake system and a unique hood with a larger opening in the front, and a small heat extractor on each side. Other options include: suspension packages, chrome firehawk wheels, Firehawk emblems galore, performance exhast systems, and performance rear differentials. No turbo. However, there were some firebirds I believe in the 70s that had the turbo grand national v6 engine option.

Re: Question

Turbo trans am 1979 had a 301 with a factory turbo on it.

1989 had the grand national motor in it with a turbo as well, that was a fast car.
