intro

Howdy folks,
i'm new here so i figured i would introduce myself and see if y'all can answer a question that i have. Well im TJ from sunny San Diego and the proud owner of a 1967 VW Beetle. well im thinking about putting in a brand new engine but i want alot more power so was thinking about a 2180cc Engine Dual Port Long Block or a 2180cc Engine Complete Turn Key engine, would those fit? or would i have to go smaller? any help is appreciated

Re: intro

Welcome.

No problem with the 2180. It'll bolt right in and fit perfect.

If you're going with that much power, may I suggest you also invest in a front disc brake upgrade. You'll thank yourself later on.

Re: intro

If you go with disk brakes put the drop spindles on too. 2180 is alot of power. How is your tranny? Will it hold up? If you have a motor already then you probably don't need a turnkey, just get a long block. Alot less money.
