Steve Irwin, The Crocadile Hunter Died today.

Damn I cant believe this! He was such a great man and he left his kid and wife behind so early too, he was only 44.

Re: Steve Irwin, The Crocadile Hunter Died today.

yeah thats a major bummer, i really liked that guy. truely unique. whats weird is that it wasnt the type of animal he usually deals with that killed him. ive seen him hold the dealiest snake in the world in his hand while it was trying to bite him. it really does suck.

Re: Steve Irwin, The Crocadile Hunter Died today.

i heard it today on the radio at work. i cant belive a singray got him i have seen him kiss the most posionist snake on the mouth. ive seen him mess with aligators just for fun. i cant belive a ray got him.

He will be missed not just for the man he was but, for all the wonderful things he has done and all the animals he has saved. my prayer goes out to him and his family.

RIP Steve, though it is kinda ironic how a sting ray got him but not those crocs.... go figure. He's gonna be missed.

I was very shocked to hear that today. I'm sure Leno will have some sort of memorial for him on his show tonight since Steve was a frequent visitor to the Tonight Show.

I've been reading this everywhere. I cant believe a stingray killed him when he litterally wrestled w/ crocs. He will be missed.

Re: Steve Irwin, The Crocadile Hunter Died today.

apparently stingrays hardly ever are lethal when they get somebody too, just extraordinarily bad luck. its sad for us to see him go, i just hope his family is doin alright. i always thought his show was one of the best on tv.

Re: Steve Irwin, The Crocadile Hunter Died today.

see you at the crossroads steve, we'll miss you!

i was just researching stingrays earlier and the thing at the end of their tail with enough force can go through a wooden boat!

Re: Steve Irwin, The Crocadile Hunter Died today.

The headline in the Sydney Morning Herald yesterday was

"Steve Irwin killed by stingray"

I bloody well laughed when I read that. It was like something that comes out of a satire magazine/newspaper.

It's just so damn ironic.

Whats more ironic, stingrays don't kill people! Injure, yes, but there were so many experts on TV/newspapers saying they can't remember the last a stingray killed someone. The official number of stingray killings in Australia in history is like a dozen or so.

Crazy shit.

That's life for ya.
