a/c blowing fuses

when i turn on my a/c, it blows the fuse. turn signal doens't work as well, it seems to be the a/c that is causing these problems. if i turn on the heater fan, and put the control on vent, it works ok. any help would be appreciated.

Re: a/c blowing fuses

Look at the clutch for the compressor check for any wiring touching the pulley causing a short. Unplug the clutch and check if the fuse blows when turning it on. You have to check an item at a time on the fuse until you find it. Check for high head pressure on the compressor or signs of a slipping hot clutch.
