My 1994 F150 will start out fine. Intermittently, few hours later it will sputter, lose power, hesitate on acceleration and eventually die. I can switch tanks and it will jerk and go a little further. If I let it the engine cool down it will start up and I can get on my way, sometimes with no further problem. The tanks are at least 1/4 full. Operating temp is normal. It can't be the fuel pump because it happens in either tank. I have no ignition module on the distributor (Like my older F150). I am told it is likely the ignition module, but I don't know where it is. The book is no help how about you guys? Any other suggestions? Thanks Jerry

Re: Sputter, hesitate on acceleration and die
it's on the inside of the left fender, top on the back side of the wheel well.
