10a ignition fuse keeps blowing

I have a 10A ignition fuse located under the dash in my 1994 plymouth voyager. It repeatly keeps blowing on me. When It first went out on me yesturday I could replace it then drive for about 15 minutes then it would blow again. Now however when I replace it it blow almost immediatly when I put it in Drive and press the gas pedal.

Notice I said "when I put it in Drive and press the gas pedal." because I can leave it in Park or Neutral slam the gas all I want and it wont blow. I can even put into Drive and it wont blow. But If I put it in Drive and press the gas hard or soft it will blow.

Anyone have any Ideas? I could really use some help.

Re: 10a ignition fuse keeps blowing

The wiring diagram I was trying to look at doesn't label the fuses in the fuse box, it only numbers them, in numerical order. What is the fuse number your having trouble with?

Are there any trouble codes?

Ya its fuse 16 Ignition feed fuse.

I have an update. It now blows the fuse when I put it in drive with or without the throttle. But it still will go into reverse and I can floor the gas and it wont blow.

Re: 10a ignition fuse keeps blowing

You probably have already done this, but look in the engine compartment around the transmission linkage, see if there is any area a cable/wire may be getting rubbed or pinched in various shift positions. I suppose it is always possible there could be a problem in the steering column area, linkage rubbing a wire.

Maybe I got the wrong wiring diagram, this shows that fuse controls the speed for the radiator fan and ac relay?
