problem with regal and 350 and the flywheel
i tried to bolt up the trans. using the buick regal stock flywheel to the 350 but there is like a 1 inch gap between the flywheel and the trans. wut flywheel would i need to bolt the trans from a buick regal 3.8 liter up to the chevy 350 engine? or do i need a different trans?

I believe you will find the Buick/Chevy bellhousing bolt pattern is different How about the years of both components, sort of important when asking for info! Did you look into the compatability of these components before attempting this?

the holes/pattern matches right up....... the trans is connected to the engine.... the flywheel is right on top on the engine but not right on the trans. maybe a bigger flywheel or something would help?

i slid the convertor up and reconnected the trans fly and engine together... we'll just see if it starts to leak trans fluid or not because there is to me what seems to be a kinda big gap on both sides of the torque convertor.

I'm not going to be much help but I'm a bit interested in what year Regal you got the trans from and why on earth you're bolting them together!
