Question Re: Sierra wont start!?!

And what truck/engine/year are we discussing? Do you have spark and fuel or fuel pressure, post back with some appropriate info for help.

Re: Sierra wont start!?!

Last year I experienced a similar occurrence with my '97 Chevy Z71. I drove to work one morning with no problems when I got in the truck to go home it would not start. Although it did turn-over, it just would not start.

After many attempts I decided to turn the key to the on position and listen to see if the fuel pump kicked on. I was not suprised to find out it did not come on. I had suspected that the pump was the problem.

I had it towed and a local shop put a new Delco pump in for about $380.00
