more problems
so yesterday i got my car started ran pefect for most of the day then i decided to head home about a mile away from my house the car all of a sudden backfires and dies and will not start again and run. it will start every once in a while but when you get on the gas it dies out mostly just backfires.but when it does start it runs like normal till it cuts itself out.i HAVE DONE THE SOHC ZC SWAP TO THIS BITCH AND IT RAN FINE FOR LIKE 2 HOURS IT WAS RAINING WHEN THIS HAPPENED I THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING WET BUT I HAVE SOLDER AND HEATSHRUNK EVERY CONECTION ON THE DAM THING. ANY IDEAS I JUST DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START ANYMORE?

The ZC that you picked up...do you know if it was running good before hand? Your issue sounds timing related to me. You probably have the mpfi swap done correctly, just the timing on your ZC sounds like it's off and needs to be adjusted.

i put at least 3000 miles on the motor when i was running it as a dpfi setup so yes it was running very well before the swap to mpfi
