Where is the iac valve for 97 Rodeo?

Mounted by 2 screws to the top front of the throttle body.

Thanks surfer, I found it. Do you think this could be the reason my son's Rodeo has started to idle over 2k when stopping? (engine warm) It actually surges a bit when coming to stop. Shifting to park then idles over 2.5k.

I should have clicked the link you posted. Sounds like you are a step ahead of me. I read your reply and ran outside to locate the iac, didn't even notice the link. lol
