well...here's the progress..the motor is out!!! and the obd1 harness that i have doesnt plug to all the plugs on the DET motor...so far, only the injectors plugs up, so i am gonna splice all the wires and solder everything on, which is not that bad since i can do a clean job at it and wrap everything up nicely...keep you guys posted.

some more progress....the DET is in today, trying to figure out how to rout the intercooler piping which is a big pain in the ass. i also have to splice the wires from the dash to the ecu, that's gonna be a headache too but everything should be done next week!!!! also gonna throw on a clutch too. havent been posting here for a while cuz busy with the motor...pictures and procedures are soon to come...i promise!

Luke, you must be doing something wrong. All of the plugs on the B13 harness should mate right up with the DET. You should use all but one of the B13 connectors.

I've never heard of anyone ever having to cut and splice a B13 wiring harness.

George...i did not do anything wrong...i am talking about the dash wiring that connects to the panels, that i need to splice.
as for the motor itself, there are more plugs that dont plug up...the TPS, as we discussed before doesnt plug up, the MAF doesnt plug up, the speedsensor on the tranny doesnt plug up as well.

Is that because the P11 engine harness has connectors to dash panels? I know the B13 engine wiring harness only connects to the ECU inside the car.

Correct. And as I said, you have to switch to the USDM TPS. That will solve that problem.

There isn't a speed sensor for the tranny on that wiring harness is there? I thought Jay's NX had the mechanical speedo. Does the P11 engine harness have the tranny speed sensor connector?

well...on the FSM ecu diagram for the NX2000, it said that it had an electrical speed sensor..i hope it's correct or my speedo wont work and tha'ts not good....does the B13 sentras have speed sensors plugs?

the dash wiring will be totally different because the dash wiring of the NX2000 is, obviously, different than the P11...so there is gonna be some splicing to do, but it's no big deal, just takes time....the real pain is to figure out how the intercooler piping would go because on the P11, there isnt a lot of room to work with, but i "think" i have it figured out.
hoping to have the car done by the end of next week.....
