need help!!!!! stock 91 Si rear speakers???

right now in my car i have stock 5 1/4's in the rear but at the car audio shop, they have a book stating the stock speakers for every car and 91 Si's are suppose to have 6 1/2's....so i bought alpine 6 1/2's, but they don't fit.....i heard about this adapter thing i can buy to fit the 6 1/2's, do you guys have any info on this adapter or any pics on what it looks like or where i can get one?????

i have 6 1/2s in the OEM rear speaker mount for 88-91 civics.

88civic_dx, do your mounts also slant downward towards the windows?? Cuz mine are like that and i think they look kinda funny!!

i don't have that mount, mine is just flat, where can i get that mount?, do they make aftermarket ones

i got mine from the dealer. This was like a year ago though dont know if they still can get em.

I think I took mine out when i put the 6 1/2 a/d/s speakers in...(cut the mounts to fit)...I'll check and post if I still have em.

I've got those adapters, they're nice. They were in the car when I bought it in 1995, so I don't know if they're still available.

I think the reason they are angled towards the side windows like that is because they are rear-fill speakers, and they're not supposed to be directional... I could be wrong though.
