change the ignition switch?

hey everyone,

i have a 98 zx2 with about 76k miles on it, the ignition switch has just died and i need to replace it... however i have no idea where to start, i just spent over $500 on repairing the thermostat housing and flushing the coolant system at the dealership and can't afford to send it back to the shop.
if anyone could give me an idea on how to replace it, that would be awesome! thanx for any help you can offer.
