Why are women so god-darned stupid?????????
I work shifts.Its a simple concept,your 'night' becomes my 'day',and significantly,your'day' becomes my 'night'.
Now...... if you had asked one of my friends repeatedly not to hammer on the door at 3am,and he still persisted with it,Iwould feel sympathetic and try to resolve the problem. So why when your friends repeatedly hammer on the front door in the middle of my night,is it my problem ? All of my friends know that if my car is in the driveway during the day,I may well be home,but if I don't answer to a light tap on the door,it's best not to persist. So...how come your fat-arsed,chicken-brained,donut-eating,crochet-cardiganed,disgusting-bag-of-fetid-flatulence,face-like-the-back-of-a-disused-zeppelin,one-brain-cell-between-them,walking-advertisement-for-drowning-at-birth,so-disgustingly-cheerful-they-must-have-had-a-collective-lobotomy country-moron-yokel-institute,geriatric-waste-of-space-and-oxygen friends seem to think that if they hammer on the door for long enough Iwill be happy to open the door an pass on their mindlessly inane and unimportant little snippets of unuttterably dull trivia??????????? JUST FUCK OFF YOU DOZY OLD HAGS...WHEN WILL YOU REALISE THAT IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN WHAT IS LEFT OF MY FUCKING SANITY I NEED SOME FUCKING SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I don't care if thelma's daughter did have a little girl,not even if the little brat has three heads and a perky fucking nana in each hand.!

I have the same fucking problem, and also sence I live in a garage I have to deal with gardners, who I randomly threaten and shout words at which probally sounds like i'm a zombie, and when I run at them with swords (I own 5 swords of different types) they ususally get the point to STOP KNOCKING ON MY FUCKING DOOR when they put a card on it. Yes, someones in there, no...you CANT steel my shit. And then my friend James, he decides "I got up at 8, so he should be up by 10 right?" NO YOU IDIOT! I wake up at 1...or 2 sometimes later, because I move 50,000+lbs in 4 hours. And for that matter, I get to bed about 6 in the morn sometimes. Then I cant get back to sleep so I have to be up. And what did he come over for? To tell me he broke up/got back with that bitch of an ex...
 ok...i'm gonna shut up before I get warned...

I used to work a night security shift as a summer job. The first thing I did when I knew I was going to do this was to get the hell out of town. Live out in the countryside where there are many less inconsiderate asswhipes and fuckwits.
Maybe you guys are stuck where you are at for now. For that I suggest ear plugs. It takes a bit to get used to sleeping with, but they do work pretty well.

You've got to think laterally. Like ship you're wife off to her ditzy friends every day. Alternatively, you could glue egg cartons all around your room for sound absorbtion. Then you haeve the choice of sleeping in it or locking you're wife friends in there...UNTIL THEY LEARN!!
