I have a 89 nissan max SE, I have made a upgrade on my rims and tires to the 2000 max SE rims the 6 spoke. I have some questions, I have noticed that my steering wheel is fighting a little when braking lightly and when going over bumps and braking, never happened while on the fatory rims and tires. Also, I have noticed that my front left strut when going over minor bumps sounds like it is going to fly off of the car, need some suggestions. I have checked the strut there is no oil leaking, the mount is not cracked either? And the front left strut is the only one that makes noise!!! Also, after a alignment with the new rims I have noticed that my left rear tire is leaning slightly inward from the top!! Shouldn't all of the wheels be straight up and down? Give me some suggestions??

well what i can say is that those wheels are too heavy for the 3rd gen. Your car was not made for those... and then you might have went over a pot-hole or a bump, and you screwed up your strut. And the the problem with the wheel being crooked, is they they simple bolted it on crooked. You might want to take that wheel off and put it back on yourself. What i do to avoid bolting the wheel on crooked is, i Bolt the top bolt, then do the one adjacent the that one, not the next one to it. go top-to-bottom- and then back to the top, do not bolt them on clockwise, or counter clockwise. anyways i hope i have ben some help to ya...
