Re: 10k engine service

Do you really mean 10k? There really isn't much to do at 10K. If you meant 100k than it depends on if the 90k service was all done. That's the big one.

Re: 10k engine service

How many miles do you have on the car now? There isn't really set schedule for service every 10K -15K, just change the oil every 6-7,000 km. Check the air filter, transmission fluid, coolant, brake & clutch fluid, and tires. Change anything that needs to be changed.

Re: 10k engine service

As long as the car's not due for a timing belt change, I'd say yeah, change the oil, check al ther fuilds. Is the PS fluid ok or does it need to be changed? Coolent, does it look ok and does it test to the proper temp (the temp testers are cheap at an auto parts store. Check the tire pressure and add air as neccessary, pull the plugs, if they look good keep em, if they need replacing replace em, check the belts, if they are good ur fine, if there are any cracks replace em, check the tranny fluid, if it looks bad a drain and fill or flush is in order..etc. A 10-15,000 km service is about a 6200-9300 mile service. Nothing major at that point, mostly checking fluids, plugs, belts and making sure all is in order, and replacing anything if it's needed.
