Exclamation Ignition Switch problem

Hello,

Randomly I will turn key to start engine and all lights come on but nothing to the starter. After I keep trying a few times it starts up. Could this be related to my last post in any way Transmission Componet Slipping?

Thank you for any advice you may have

Re: Ignition Switch problem

I had a toyota that would do that . . . it turned out to be a loose wire in the starter solenoid. A little solder fixed it up, still works 50,000 miles later.

Re: Ignition Switch problem

With the tranny slippage and the dead starts, I would definatly suspect your ignition switch.
