Okay so my car has had the engine light read and my mechanic advised me that it was a canister that sucked air out of the gas tank at startup. Does anybody know where it is located? He said it was usually black in a smooth cylindrical form usually found in the driver side.
Thanks in Advance, JoeShmoe |

Okay I guys I followed the a hose form the gas tank and found that a hose coming from the tank jsut above where the fuel deposits in had a big gash from a ring clamp. Can you buy jsut that hose?

Re: Gas Tank Vacuum Leak
It probably is fuel line hose. Get the size and buy fuel hose for fuel injection. Normally 5/16 inch or 8mm. Take a piece with you. Buy new clamps also.

Re: Gas Tank Vacuum Leak
Turns out it was a black cylinder towards the rear driver side under the car that was the problem. It was all clogged up and there for didn't function prperly but I got it repalced.
Thanks a lot. JoeShmoe |
