97 max VS 97 monte carlo

i raced my friend today after we got out of school early for a early release thing, and i fried his ass at a redlight out by the mall. should i have beat him like that? i thought that monte carlos had a good engine in them?

First off, was it a base or a Z34? If it was a base, then you would smoke him anyday, a Z34 is a little quicker, but certainly not FAST.

it was a stock. the race was stock VS stock. r u sure bout me bein able to beat him? he had his AC goin full blast when we raced and i jus beat him in the last 50-100ft of the stretch of street we were on

at the begginging we were like dead even too, im sure if my tires wouldnt have spun like they did it prob would have helped too

yeah monte carlos are pretty slow. I raced an SS once and i killed it. I'm completlely stock too.

it wouldn't even be close...especially if you have a manual. a 97 Max se 5sp. runs 0-60 in 6.6 (according to Nissan), and a monte carlo base would do it no in 8 seconds, at best. do you have a stick or slushbox

there must be somethin wrong with my tranny, it doesnt want to go like it used to sometimes. i gonna get that check out soon

potna U should B able 2 kill da monte clogo, I smoke dem regularly & despite my K/N & Tornado I still consider myself stock.
easy kill they'R 2 heavy 2 keep pace, but B careful if it iz already rollN dey have good torque when movN.
all N all tho U should still B able 2 leave skid markz on him & still wipe hiz a$$

:bandit: hey my man da antman, whatz up? I woodnt say big gain wit da tornado thingy, but der iz some gain & U can really feel when the power comez on, plus it makez a nice sound like havN a catback or sumN.
Da thing I noticed da most iz da gain in gas mileage, on average I'm gettN at least 3 2 4mo mpg ezpecially when I'm just cruzN & not racN.
