Changing Gauge Cluster
I have a 89 Civic Hatchback DX the kind that doesnt have a tachometer in the gauge cluster. I was wandering how I would go about getting a tach in there. I've heard you can take the gauge cluster from an Si and it matches right up. Is this true? Also is there any extra wiring that needs to be done for the tach to work or is it just like plug into a previously unused plug.
Thanks lots, Lane

Re: Changing Gauge Cluster
Any 88-89 cluster with a tach will work, si and hf. Plugs right in, no wiring.

Re: Changing Gauge Cluster
88-89 from a crx or civic sedan works also..plug right in..if you have to grab the 90-91 cluster you have to re wire the plug since is not the same from the 88-89 cluster...
