Everything was running fine, but we have flooding here from that tropical storm, rode through two pretty deep, didn't stall out like some people were, but after going through the second one the battery light came on, and it also seemed like the power steering was gone. The engine temperature was low for a few miles....drove the rest of the way home on the interstate and temperature evened out at normal. Battery light was still on, steering was still harder than normal. After getting home, I let it dry out several hours, and restarted it, still has battery light. I didn't drive it anymore yet, figured I would come here and see what you experts thought of it?
And I know, shouldn't have went through it....was kind of trapped into it....ran out of options. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: HELP-drove through flooded roads today!!!!
I'd be willing to bet you got your alternator wet and they really dislike being wet. Take it to Auto Zone/O'Rielly's/Napa/whatever you have in your town and have them check it. You may have also messed up your power steering pump, might have a mechanic look at that one.
