how much does hp does a 97 RS have?
how much does hp does a 97 RS have? i have a 92 Civic but the carkshaft blew out on it, so I might get a 97 RS, it it worth buying? wat makes it different from the GS?

The RS and GS Eclipses have the Chrysler 420a motor in them which runs at about 140 horsepower. The only difference between the RS and GS is that the GS comes with more options standard, like better wheels, power locks, windows, that stuff. Also the GS has color keyed mirrors and door handles.
(If you can afford it, the GS is the nicer way to go) Peace

Yeah, 420A, the Neon engine with the cyl head on backwards, is that the one!?! Just buy a Neon with DOHC it has 10 more HP, and rapes an N/A Eclipse.

did that guy say his neon will rape a n/a eclipse,funny i drive a gs i dont race much but i know i have blown by neons on the highway,and even if it would win haha you cant use "rape" unless its a turbo vs a n/a,because it sounds pretty funny
