Is a car with LSD street legal?

I know what a LSD is (Limited Slip Differential.) But my question is is a car with a LSD street legal?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Is a car with LSD street legal?

Yes a LSD is street legal. I don't know why you would think it wouldn't be. Some cars (VR4 to name one) have them stock. Are you sure your not thinking of LSD the drug being illegal? Otherwise I don't know how someone could come up with such a wild idea. Hope that helps.

Re: Is a car with LSD street legal?

yes. in fact many cars from the factory come with LSDs. Like the S2000, Skyline, and Supra RZ.

Re: Is a car with LSD street legal?

hahaha!!! No I'm not thinking of the drug, I'm not stupid.

I really know nothing about LSD cept for what it does (in a car I mean) so I was just wondering if it was street legal or not.

Re: Is a car with LSD street legal?

Ok. Just out of curiosity why would you think something that assists in traction would be illegal?

To answer the question, no, they are not illegal.

No, it gives the non slipping wheels more torque. If the slipping wheels got more torque, they'd slip more.

Re: Is a car with LSD street legal?

It makes both wheels spin as opposed to one only. Camaros come stock with it.

Re: Is a car with LSD street legal?

boy whata bunch of assholes...talking shit in the forums.... if you want to know why someone might ask why a beneficial mod would be street legal? why dont you ask about your 4-5 point racing harnesses and those bride seats......theyre not street legal. safer but still not legally DOT approved. there still arent stupid questions only stupid people who are too closed minded to stop assuming EVERYONE knows what they know.
