1974 MGB Won't Start - Part 2
Now, it is turning over but will not start. I turn the key and it tries to start, but does not.

Air, fuel, and spark.
Have you check fuel flow to the carburetors? Are the connections to the coil clean and secure? Have you checked the points and condenser? |

I will check all those things, Kim. Sounds like one of those things to me too. I will let you know. Thanks!

Standard points and I bought the car in June, so I don't know their condition. I'll take a look at everything under the distributor cap.

Kim
It was a corroded, frayed wire going to the coil. I cut it, spliced a new one....and it started up just fine. Thanks again! Austin |
