bnaylor, i apologize
i apologize for going against your advice and telling you i had a tool to get the s/c pulley off without buying the special one, it doesnt work. i tried today and f***** up my factory pulley. luckily i can work magic with vicegrips to get it usable again, and i went straight to my pc and ordered my pulley tool, it will be here in two days, or should be at least.

Re: bnaylor, i apologize
No need to apologize. We all have to learn on our own. It is called the school of hard knocks. The pulley puller will come in handy for the future so it is like an investment.
The worse story I heard about on removing a SC pulley was a guy took it to a local mechanic who hack sawed it off. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Re: bnaylor, i apologize
The tool police should go to that mechanics garage, confiscate is tools, and put a big "Parking Only" sign on his garage. What an idiot!

I recall working on that post here in Grand Prix.If you are in an area where there is a Grand Prix Club you can make good money loaning SC pulley pullers out or barter like for brew.
