1969 Camaro SS COPO

I didn't post a WIP on this, I went straight to a completed thread.

This is a 1969 Camaro SS COPO 427 ZL1. Color is Hugger Orange, I dont know if Im going to put stripes or not, I kinda like the way she looks now. Only mod is C4 Corvette LT1 Exhaust Tips.

Im happy because this is 1 of 4 models Im currently working on that I finished. Let me know what you think.

GReat work, nothing much nicer than hugger orange 69 camaro. I like that you blacked out the rear panel, really cool. Also the zl1 all aluminum enggine is a nice touch as well. Keep up the great work. I like this kit , i have built about 5 of them its always fun to build a 69 camaro

Re: 1969 Camaro SS COPO

Great looking camaro, and this is coming from a firebird guy. I built two of these myself. One hugger orange with white stripes and the other black with metalic red stripes. The motor looks nicely detailed tho kind of hard to see. I would have a hard time deciding on the stripes too, looks awsome without them.

Thanks guys, I think Im going to leave it without stripes as well. Looks too good without them, thought black z28 stripes would probably look damn good.

Looks great, nice and clean. I wouldn't bother with stripes. COPOs didn't have them (but Yenkos did.)

Re: 1969 Camaro SS COPO

What I was trying to replicate was a car that was never ordered, but could have been (or as far as I know was never ordered) and thats a SS COPO. That means that it would have the blacked out back end, SS stripes, and ZL1 option (if optioned with a ZL1)
