Power window acting wacky
Any ideas are appreciated!
1) When the car was turned off the driver’s side window went down on its own. When pressing the switch to bring it up it did go up but then it went back down on its on. It was as if the auto-down feature was stuck or something. I managed to get the window up. Since then the window is functioning fine. 2) also in the cold weather the passenger side window will go down and stay down for a while, seems like I need to wait 15 minutes or so with the car off and then it will go up. Any ideas on either of these problems? |

Re: Power window acting wacky
Sounds like you have a flaky driver's side power window switch or express down module.
The power window motors have a thermal limiting device that can act up especially in cold or hot weather. So you may need a new motor regulator assembly on the passenger side.

Re: Power window acting wacky
For the power window switch; Can I replace only the driver's side switch or do I have to replace the entire cluster(all window switches) that's on the driver's side control panel?
