Smile 1995 Safari Engine Performance

I desire more power climbing in thin mountain air from my V-6 in my 1995 Safari AWD conversion van. I would appreciate any ideas concerning reasonably-priced modifications to improve engine performance, such as an add-on air intake system.

Re: 1995 Safari Engine Performance

Welcome to AF. CAI will not accomplish what you want here, the weight and aerodynamics are the big issue along with the awd drag. A stronger cam, reprogrammed pcm and free flowing exhaust would help considerably , the cost is up there, maybe 1k. Higher numerical gearing would be a big improvement also, but again expensive.
