Fuel Filter Location?

89 pick up 22re 4x4. Where is the fuel filter?

ive done this one. its nowhere near the gas tank as expected. it should be on the inside of the frame rail under the passenger door.

on my 90 22re 4x4 it's located to the left of the oil filter on the side of the block. not much room.

Toyota replacement fuel filters are lifetime warrantied. Some dealers give discounts for auto club membership, union membership, etc., so ask.

Mine is above the starter. Take the Passenger wheel off, splash guard off. takes a long extention for the bottom mounting bolt. Top one is a bear to get to. Just changed mine. One hour job with air tools.
