Painting technique question

Hey, I'm working on my Tamiya 2001 wrx wrc model. And Im working on longer areas, such as exhuast and parts of the chassis. How can I paint while removing brush lines from the brush and keep it a steady amount of paint? Could I aurbrush this stuff? Or is there an easier way?

airbrush would probably be your best bet, but if you're gonna brush paint, do a few thin coats always brushing in the same direction.

You're doing exhaust and mufflers, right? Why not just pick up a spray can on silver or aluminum and spray it on? That would be the easiest. Save airbrushing for car bodies. It's too much of a pain in the ass to do small parts with it. :bandit:

hmm..I see, It calls for white exhuast with small silver and aluminum stripes on the muffler itself. I did 3-4 light coats of white and it looks great.
