eclipse turbo

I picked up a 1990 eclipse turbo, I got a deal on it, the only thing that it needed is a headliner and a tune up, I am going to sell it, I have to many cars, 03 mustang GR, 91 MR2 Turbo, 03 GMC Envoy & 05 Tacoma, but anyway this one has to go, but I noticed on the engine when I was doing the tune up there is a hose not hooked up & not sure what it is, so if someone can help me figure out where it goes or whats missing it would be greatly appreciated I don't know how to put pictures on here, so if anyone has a 90 turbo can you send me pictures of the engine bay

First of all, wrong forum. This is the CLASSIFIEDS FORUM. You sell/buy/trade things. Not for solving your problems.

Second, take a picture and host it on www.imageshack.us and post the link so we know what the hell your talking about. There are dozens of hoses in an engine bay, how are we supposed to know the specific one you need.

why would you buy a car just to sell it? but whatever, yeah, upload the image to www.imageshack.us and paste the "direct link to image" in this forum, and we might be able to help you out

Dude, he is selling it. Quit being so damn nasty to people. He wants to get the stuff wired up correctly before he sells it. I see no problem with him posting it here. It is indeed a for sale ad. Maybe somebody wouldn't mind buying it as is and connecting everythign themselves.

Re: eclipse turbo

How many miles are on it? Location? Anything wrong with the car besides the disconnected wires?

Re: eclipse turbo

I'm sorry I guess that would help, theres 110k on it, we put on a new headliner, did the tuneup, it has new tires, the paint is a few years old, the car was parked for a few years, I am the second owner, I guess they haven't driven it in awhile and they kept getting warning to either register it or get it towed, so I made an offer and thats all she wrote. As you can see its a five speed, no grinding, it goes into gear really good, I don't like the idle on it, which is really weard it didn't do that until I changed the spark plugs on it, not sure why, I put NGK in it, when I tried the old sparks plugs it didn't do that, but I wanted new plugs and wires in it. other than that it drives great, I just don't need it.

I live in virginia beach va. 23453

Re: eclipse turbo

sounds like the gap may be off, what kinda plugs did you put in it? if they are BPR7ES, you should gap them 0.028 and it should fix your idle problem

Re: eclipse turbo

I was told by autozone to gap them at 0.032 thats what I did, but I might try that tomorrow, I have taken them out 3 times now, put one kind of plug in and it was bad, so I took them back and put the old ones back in, then I was told to do the NGK so I tried that, still not good, so I pulled them again and checked the gap, but I will try it again, if that doesn't work, I will put the old ones back in, it doesn't idle really bad, but its just not the way I want it, it hesitates a little when I started it. I am very picky about that. my MR2 purrrs. I love that car.
but thanks I will try it tomorrow and let you know.

How was that first post a for sale ad? He just mentioned that he wanted to sell it, after he got it fixed. The post was about a problem, I saw no information about selling the car until later posts where there were some actual details listed about the car. That's why I posted it.

Re: eclipse turbo

That car is worth 2k at the most, I wouldn't give anyone over 1500 for a 1g though.
