h23 to h22 questions

i've searched for several hours all over the web about this and had no luck...maybe yall can help me out here.

i'm swapping out an 1996 h23 for a jdm 1995 h22a. my problem rite now is regarding the intake manifold.

1. the h23 had a map sensor mounted ontop of the throttle body...and the h22 doesnt. are these throttle bodies interchangable?

2. the h22 has a vacuum solenoid that controls the fpr and the h23 fpr just plugs up directly to the intake manny. can i just do away w/ the solenoid and run it directly just like the h23?

3. im keepin the external coil setup from the h23...i've purchased the brackets as mentioned from AcesHigh's post...but i haven't figured where it will mount to

4. any links or advice to vacuum routing?

5. h23 has a crank position sensor at the timing area, but the h22 doesn't...are the oil pumps interchangable so i have the cps on the h22?

6. lastly...thanks in advance for any help

Re: h23 to h22 questions

Your biggest problem is that you are swapping a obd 2 engine into a obd1 car. I don't know what the exact differences are, but check the internet for swapping a obd2 engine into a obd1 car.
